For almost the past eight years I have been photographing architecture, both professionally and personally. My life in photography has been consumed by creating that seamless image with perfect lighting and flawless staging. And what I could not accomplish on location, I would in post production and Photoshop.
Of course, professionally, this is a great way to work; my clients very much appreciate it. However, for my personally work, I am taking a little diversion.
I am going back to where I started in photography, black & white, and keeping it much looser as well. Here are a handful of images I recently shot of one of my favorite places, the 9th Street Market and Passyunk Avenue.
